Summer Series: Whats in my Airport Bag for Lanzarote

This morning I fly to Lanzarote so I thought why not share with you what is in my airport bag and what I'm taking on the plane with me.

I like to use a reasonably sized bag for the airport. Something thats not too big or too small. A bag that I can fit in a lot of things to do on the plane but can get away with the size restrictions on Ryan Air.

Seeing as it's only a 4 hour plane journey I don't need to pack too much or put my make up bag in my handluggage so mainly the items in my bag will be things to keep me busy or important items such as my passport.

Company Magazine: So I get something to look through and get some inspiration for some blog posts
Sweets: I like to snack on things even though you get a plane meal and the sweets are expensive so taking my own is so much easier.
Travel pillow: you have to be comfy!
Sony headphones: For 75% of the flight I will be listening to music so having some big headphones to drown out everyone else is a must!

IPod: I'll listen to music for the majority of the flight so my IPod is very important as without it I would be so bored!
Tablet: Being able to watch films and play games is definetly a must for a 4 hour flight!
Phone: Even though you can't use it its still an important essential
Book: Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris- I always end up reading when on an airplane as it passes the time quickly

Tissues: I don't know why but because of the air conditioning on the plane I always get a really runny nose
Passport: You can't leave the country without your passport so without this I won't be going on holiday
Camera and batteries: I love having my camera ready at hand when arriving at Lanzarote to snap some pics!
Sunglasses: When I arrive at Lanzarote it will be around 12pm so sunglasses will be needed

Hairbrush: You never know when you might want to put your hair up so having a hairbrush in your bag is very handy.
Notebook and pen: Might get some inspiration for a blog post so having something to write on and jot down my ideas is a must!
Mints/Chewing gum: Helps me feel more clean and fresh
Comfy socks: Airplanes arn't the comfiest of places so having some warm socks to keep your feet warm can help make it that little more bareable

I can't wait to be in Lanzarote in just a few hours!

See you soon lovelies!
