Liebster Award #2

 So I was recently contacted by the amazing Laura Rachel (http://lolfashionbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/) where she let me know that she had nominated me for the Liebster Award. I love to do the Liebster Award as it makes me and others aware of other bloggers and lets us connect and know more about each other.

 

For those who havent heard of the Liebster Award, the aim is to promote lesser known blogs to the Beauty/Fashion world. It is a way for us bloggers to share information with each other and help each other get noticed! It is also a great idea for other bloggers and readers to get to know each other a bit better.

11 Facts About Me:

 

1. My zodiac sign is pisces

2. If I was a boy I'd be called Thomas Harris

3. I've only ever broken my little toe. I have never broken any large bones.

4. I love to write lists. Whether its a packing list, a to-do list, shopping list anything to keep me organized or remind me.

5. I have a jackodoodle called Billy who is 3 1/2 years old. I will introduce him to you soon!

6. I'm an only child but I have a huge family altogether!

7. I want to live in L.A for at least a year

8. I'm going to be a  bridesmaid for the first time at my cousin's wedding

9. I hoard notebooks, I own so many and don't know what to do with all of them. I start to write in one and then buy a new one and write in that.

10. I love netflix and spend all my time watching new tv programmes like American Horror Story

11. I love Kpop and Kdramas

1) What inspired you to start your blog?

For ages I've watched youtube and beauty gurus and enjoyed relating to them and finding something in common with other people. So I decided I wanted to start something where I could share my views and things I enjoy with other people. However, I didn't yet have the confidnce to start a youtube channel so  I started a blog where I could talk about things that people are interested in and can relate to.
 

2) What is one of your guilty pleasures or something you can't ever resist? 

Watching old childhood shows such as Dexter's Labratory, W.I.T.C.H., Avatar, Disney Channel shows. When I was younger I loved watching these shows and knowing that I can watch them on netflix makes me very happy!
 

3) Whats your current favourite/can't live without product?

Eyeliner, I can't leave the house without eyeliner on otherwise I feel like my eyes are invisible.
 

4) Name a fashion item you can't live with out!
 

My converse. They are so comfy and go with nearly everything I wear. They are the best pair of shoes I've ever purchased.
 

5) Your biggest fears 

Losing family and friends and people I care about.
 

6) Whats your most embarrassing moment

I don't really have a really embarassing moment as of yet. I have little embarrasing moments throughout school but not one that sticks out.
 

7) Who do you look up to most?
 

Family like older cousins and relatives who have done well in their careers and lifestyle and people like Bubz, Weylie and Louis from youtube who have helped others and are thankful and positive.
 

8) Who's the person who's style/appearance you admire most?

Weylie Hoang (https://www.youtube.com/user/ilikeweylie), she has a natural make up look and and her taste in clothing is something I really like.
 

9) Whats the reason behind your blog name?
 

I dont actually know. I wanted something catchy and beauty related so I came up with 50shadesofblush. At first I was thinking of lots of other names but they didn't sound right.
 

10) Who knows about your blog? 

Family, friends, twitter and beauty communities I'm involved in.
 

11) How did you/do you react when people you know find your blog?

It depends on who the person is. If its a friend I get really excited and happy that they found my blog and when someone starts talking to me on twitter and that they read my blog I get really excited. But sometimes I feel judged when some people find out. I used to be scared to promote my blog and tell people before incase people thought it was rubbish. However, now I don't care because it's something I enjoy doing.
