June Favourites

This months favourites include beauty, lifestyle, favourite songs, favourite movie and TV shows. I'm enjoying a lot of things this month so bare with me!

 1. Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer 003 | £5.99

I never thought about using a primer before but after I saw Weylie from the youtube channel ilikeweylie use it along side the Rimmel London BB Cream Matte I thought I'd give it a try and I love it! There is definitely a big difference. It makes your face appear more even and when applying foundation it makes it look more matte and doesn't show your pores, making you have a flawless coverage. I've also noticed it makes your base make up last longer throughout the day.

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo (Floral & Flirty Blush) | £1.99

This is perfect for when you are having a lazy day and don't have the energy to wash your hair. I sometimes can't be bothered to wash my hair  when I'm not doing a lot or staying at home so using this dry shampoo is perfect. It takes seconds to use and makes my hair smell so fresh. Its also a life saver for people who have a similar hair type to me. My hair is fresh for one day but the day after it is instantly greasy and feels dirty so instead of continuously washing my hair and damaging it I use this to freshen it up.

4. Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm | £3.99

I get really puffy eyes in the morning after waking up and the concealer I'm using doesn't seem to help erase my puffy eyes so therefore using an eye cream before going to bed and when I wake up really helps me look awake. The last time I used a Simple product it didn't agree with my face but this eye balm really helps and I wouldn't be able to leave the house without applying it.

5. Vibe Fuchsia Zipp Up Headphones | £11.96

My dad went to the Gadget Show a few months ago and brought me back these headphones because he knows how much I hate it when my headphones are all tangled together and I can't undo them. It has to be the most helpful creation ever! They work by the two wires being put into a zip so that you can zip the wires apart and zip them together so that they don't tangle together. I didn't really explain it very well so if your interested check out this website: http://www.vibecollection.co.uk/earphones/

6.  Bio Oil 60ml | £8.99

I have bad acne scars on my temples, chin and cheeks and on my arms so for ages I was wondering what I could do to help get rid of the scars and then someone told me they had been using bio oil for about 4 months and that it was really working for their scars. So I purchased the 60ml Bio Oil bottle to give it a try before purchasing a bigger bottle and I'm definitely repurchasing. It is one product where I have seen great results with removing acne scars. It does take a while before you can see any results but it works great!

7. Soap And Glory Glam-A-Lot Body Spray | £8.50 (Came in a set)

I have used a lot of Soap And Glory body sprays and perfumes and I like all of them but this month I've been enjoying the Glam-A-Lot Body Spray for an everyday scent. I got it in a box set for my birthday and this is the one I used first. I like to use different perfumes/body sprays on alternate days but this month I've constantly used this body spray.

8. Seventeen Make Your Mark Soft Eyeliner Pen 01 | £3.99

I'm still on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner which I'm yet to find. However, while searching I still enjoyed using this eyeliner this month. Even though it smudges and isn't as dark as I would like it helps make my eyes look bigger and lasts all day so I don't have to touch up.

9. Maybelline New York Dream Touch Lumi Highlighter Concealer 02 Nude | £6.99

I've used this concealer a few times now and love it! When you first apply it on your face it comes out very orange despite that when you blend it the colour becomes lighter and doesn't appear orange anymore. It really does help most blemishes become unseen but unfortunately not all. Additionally seeing as its a highlighter I have noticed it makes my cheeks look more bright so my face doesn't look as dull.

10.  Favourite Songs: (There are a lot)
  • 'Problem' By Ariana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea
  • 'Chandelier' By Marilyn Bailey (Cover Version)
  • 'Piano' By Ariana Grande
  • 'Fantastic Baby' By Bigbang
  • '1AM' By Taeyang
  • 200% By Akdong Musician
These songs are constantly being played on my iPod and are always on repeat. They are so catchy and great to jam along to.

11. Favourite Album:  Akdong Musician Play | £8.99

I love this album I'm constantly listening to it and the songs are so catchy and remain in your head. Some are slow tracks such as 'Melted' and some are really upbeat tracks such as 'Galaxy'. Overall, each song has something different. It is also the first album I have listened to that is folk, I mainly listen to hip-hop and R&B so listening to this album has been very different than my usual preference.

12. Favourite Film: The Fault In Our Stars

I went and saw this in the cinema with my best friend around more than a week ago and the cinema was filled with tears and gasps as you fall in love with the story of Hazel and Augustus. I read the book but the film by far made me cry more. What I love about the film is that its not just a simple love story where they just fall in love and that's it. But it shows the hardship of real life and what people with cancer have to live with and endure.

13. TV Programmes:
  • Two Broke Girls (E4)
  • Triangle (Korean: 트라이앵글) (MBC)
  • The Glorious Day (Korean:기분 좋은날) (SBS)
